St Pugtricks Day Party
St Pugtricks Day Party
Coronado’s Tidelands Park
Saturday, March 13th 2010
10:00AM to 1:00PM
It's time for our annual St Pugtrick's Day Party at Coronado’s Tidelands Park! Bring your pugs, bring your friends, bring a blanket and some chairs, and come join us for a morning of Irish celebrating! Rick and Lynnell's now-famous BBQ will be there, so bring a couple bucks so you can enjoy an early lunch. We'll have the pug pen set up, and will be painting tails green and turning our little Pugs into leprechauns! We will also have the Pug Boutique set up and plenty of foster dogs in attendance, so come meet some of our adoptable Pugs!

Admission is FREE, but donations are always welcome!
What a great way to let your Pug celebrate St. Patrick's
      day!
Romping with other little green tailed friends!
Enjoy Rick and Lynnell's BBQ - complete with
      hamburgers, hotdogs, & veggie dogs.
Play yard for the pugs, so you can relax while they
      celebrate.
We will have the Pug Boutique set up.
We will also have a raffle and a themed bake sale
      compliments of Alisha and Robin.
Bring your pugs and make sure everyone is wearing
      green!
All proceeds go to our Rescue Pugs.
Directions to the event:
Take Interstate 5 south to the Coronado bridge exit
Go over the bay and just as you get thru the old toll booths you will turn right to Tidelands park.
You will actually see the park to your right as you are crossing over the bridge.

PRSDC off to a great start in 2010

Through your paid membership, you receive the Pug Pockets Newsletter and ongoing information on Pug Rescue of San Diego plus invitations to all of our events, a 10% discount at our boutique, a beautiful cloisonne Pug Rescue Pin and MOST IMPORTANTLY, you are helping us to save the lives of our pugs, and to provide ongoing care for our fosters. Click here and sign up now.

The Pug Meet Up Group has been changed to Sunday, March 14th from 12:00 to 3:00 so that all our San Diego Pug Lovers can attend both parties! Tell you Puggies to rest up, they will need lots of energy for a weekend of green tails, lots of treats, and plenty of Pug fun!

Unleashed is an indoor venue so this event is on rain or shine! Admission is FREE! Unleashed is a great new store which focuses on higher quality and natural dog foods. It's a great store, and the staff is terrific, so come check it out! There will be plenty of food (and please, feel free to bring a dish to share - for humans or for dogs!), $5 do it yourself dog washes at their indoor bath area, as well as a great St. Pugtrick's Day basket to raffle off with the proceeds benefitting Pug Rescue of San Diego. (This is a public store, so for your Pug's safety, please keep them on a leash while in the store - perhaps we'll be able to set up the Pug Pen for some off leash play.)

Location: UNLEASHED by Petco, 304 H street #901, Chula Vista, CA 91910

We are thrilled with this new schedule and hope to see everyone at both the St. Pugtrick's party at Tidelands park, as well as the Meet Up in Chula Vista.

Littles is our NEW Featured Pug of the Month for March

Meet Littles! Littles is a sweet old man who luckily found his way into the loving arms of Pug Rescue. Littles showed up at the shelter in San Bernadino, severely underweight and looking rather sad. Pug Rescue volunteers saw him and brought down to San Diego, where he has been enjoying the good life in a wonderful foster home. Now that Littles has gained some weight and has been neutered, he has been out in the yard looking for his very own shamrock to wish on. Littles told me his wish is to find his very own forever family to share St. Patrick's day with. Perhaps you are that family?
