How Do I Become a Member?

Becoming a member of Pug Rescue of San Diego County (PRSDC) makes you part of a vibrant group devoted to rescuing Pugs. PRSDC is nationally recognized as one of the best Pug rescue organizations in the country. We need everyone with the heart and stamina to love and protect these precious little dogs.

PRSDC relies on monetary donations, membership funds, and committed time from volunteers to provide the care and attention needed for our rescued Pugs. An increasing number of relinquished/rescued Pugs come to us each year, many with immediate medical needs. We take in elderly and mature dogs with special needs, as well as adolescent and adult dogs.

Your membership dues help to provide expensive medical care for the Pugs we rescue and adopt out to loving homes. Some of this care includes medication, shots, spay/neuter, veterinarian specialists, surgeries, and exams. We also spend money on food, shelter fees, licenses, collars, leashes, and literature on the protection of Pugs. Often we rescue Pugs who would not find homes otherwise.

Upon becoming a member of PRSDC, you will receive the following:

Our lovely cloisonne pin with the words PUG RESCUE.
A 10% discount at the famous and nationally recognized Pug Boutique.
The Pug Pockets Newsletter filled with health tips, adoption stories, and planned dates of annual fundraising and other events.
