Description:
Florence (aka Flo) comes to Pug Rescue with very little history. She appears to be mostly pug, although she's likely mixed with a dash of something else.
Diva girl is well behaved and extremely social. Flo will make a terrific play buddy as she has lots of puppy spunk. If you leave your slipper on the floor she will happily move it around for you! She's extremely loving and inquisitive. Flo is 110% lap and companion girl. Flo's happy place is snuggling with her human. She will be in your lap the moment you sit down to relax.
Flo is not the girl for you if you are looking for a guard dog. She happily greets any person she meets. Her ideal home will be one where her people are not regularly gone for long periods of time. Flo would do very well in a home with kids and other well mannered dogs. Flo enjoys the company of cats although she keeps them in check with a brief friendly chase once in a while. She definitely prefers a human bed to sleep in.
Flo likes lots of attention and needs basic training including sit, stay and come. She will be ready for adoption once she has her spay surgery in late September.
