Description:
Lexee and Rocky are two beautiful, jet-black, eleven-week old pug puppies.
They were born in March to a mother pug who gave birth to a litter of nine.
There wasn't enough room for all nine babies, so Lexee and Rocky suffered as a result. They were both born with deformed front legs; Lexee has one bad leg and poor little Rocky can't use either of his front legs. The puppies were turned over to Pug Rescue of San Diego County so they could be given a chance at a normal life.
Suzi Schutzman, Pug Rescue's Adoption and Medical V. P, took the brother and sister to Dr. Serdy at the Pet Emergency Clinic in El Cajon , for evaluation. Both dogs have genetic dislocation of the front limbs. They both need significant surgeries. The prognosis is good though - they both should be able to walk and lead normal lives. The surgery is costly and will run close to $4,000. We need your help to give these puppies a chance to enjoy long and happy lives.
Lexee and Rocky are currently in a wonderful foster home awaiting their surgery. They happily play, unaware of their disabilities. Although they didn't have the best start in life, Pug Rescue is determined to give them a new beginning so they can be adopted into loving, forever homes. Pug Rescue of San Diego County is dedicated to saving Pugs - young and old, healthy and sick, disabled, abandoned, and in need. Your generous donation will help Pug Rescue of San Diego County give all these puppies the full and happy lives they deserve.

New Beginning: And here we have some Holiday cheer to share! Many of you may remember

Rocky and Lexi, the two puppies Pug Rescue helped over the summer.

They were born with deformed front legs, and their "breeder"

relinquished them to us for care. We were able to raise the funds for

them to have surgeries on both legs and they were adopted into a

wonderful forever family. Well, here they are, back to tell everyone

Merry Christmas!! They are doing fabulous, and are treasured members

of their new family. Their names are now Milo and Lulu and Milo has

appointed himself "Top Dog" and spends his day protecting his family

from evils like the vacuum cleaner. Lulu is a snuggle bug and makes

sure that her family is up bright and early to greet each day!

Sometimes it's nice to get some good news. Thanks to everyone who

helped us care for these two wonderful pups, please continue helping

us help needy Pugs!
