Description: Gladys was found on the side of the freeway in Riverside by a good samaritan who tried to find her owners for quite some time. Gladys was filthy and scared. She is microchipped, but no one answered any of the phone numbers and there is no forwarding address. So Gladys came here to Pug Rescue to find a new forever home.

Gladys is a sweet little girl who is estimated to be about 4 years old. She is good with other dogs and is polite with the kitties in her foster home. She has the cutest little habit of giving a soft, gentle howl when she wants your attention and/or she’s excited and happy. It’s not loud or shrill at all, and it’s guaranteed to make you laugh. She also does the cutest little happy dance when you first come home.

She is house-trained, but does not ask to go out (although she does get restless and start circling as a sign that she “has to go”), so it is up to her owner to take her outside and tell her to “go potty”. She obviously had one eye removed at some point in her past, but it is completely healed and doesn’t seem to bother her or slow her down in the least. She is medium energy - very excited to go outside and go for a walk and will run around given the opportunity, but once in the house she quickly quiets down for a nap, preferably on your lap.
Gladys will make a fun little companion for just about any family - wouldn't you like it to be yours?
