Description:
Zorro comes to us from the shelter, and we know that he has been an outdoor dog all his life. Other than that, we don't know much about his history. What we do know is that he is now loving life in a wonderful foster home. Zorro was just neutered and had his teeth cleaned and many of them were removed because they were rotten. Other than some weakness in his rear legs, he is healthy and in pretty good shape for a senior pug! He is very sweet, gets along well with other dogs, and is quickly learning to go potty outside. Zorro loves to cuddle and is really enjoying a better life now. We will post photos as soon as we can. Zorro is looking for a family of his own to spend his golden years with, wouldn't you like to give this sweet man a forever home? Update 7/18/10 - Since being in foster care, Zorro has had many difficulties with his tummy. Unfortunately, our vets are beginning to suspect that he may have colon cancer, so Zorro will spend the rest of his days being lovingly cared for by his foster family. Please consider donating to help us cover Zorro's medical expenses. He is currently comfortable, and when he gets to be in too much pain, we will help him over the rainbow bridge. For now, he is being loved. On February 16th, 2011, Zorro crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. He was in the arms of his foster mom, who loved him very much. His body was finally done, so it was decided that the kindest thing was to let him go. His family will miss him, may this sweet little man rest peacefully.
