Meet Gwenevere, she comes to Pug Rescue from a shelter up north. Gwen has been to the veterinarian and is estimated to be 2 years old. She was spayed on Tuesday (5/11) and was quickly up and walking around on Wednesday morning. She is on antibiotics and daily ear drops for a couple more weeks. She has sutures in her incision from her spay and also under both eyes due to tear duct surgery. All sutures will dissolve within 3-4 weeks.
She is very loving to her foster parents, their 2 dogs and shows interest in the two cats but hasn't bothered them at all. She will give kisses to anyone that shows interest, including the other 2 dogs. She rolls over on her back when she is excited and if she is awake, you can bet that her tail is wagging. She is a constant companion; following right behind you wherever you go. She is only good for about 30 minutes of this before falling asleep wherever she happens to be - this will probably change once she is off of her pain medication.
Gwen is being introduced to crate training and she is doing very well with it, but sometimes will give out a few whines. She had one potty accident in the house the day of her surgeries, but has been doing fine since then.
