Medical condition: Some arthritis in his back |
Description: Meet Freeway Freddy! He came to Pug Rescue, from, well, the freeway. Freddy was found wandering on the freeway and luckily was picked up and rescued before any tragedies happened. Freddy is certainly a lucky guy. Freddy is enjoying life in his foster home, and is a very good boy. He gets along well with other dogs, is potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash. He loves to play with his foster mom, barking at her and chasing her around the house. He is very well behaved, does not bark at the door (we think he may be deaf as he does not respond to many noises), and he likes to sleep on his own doggie bed at night. Freeway Freddy does have some arthritis in his spine, and needs some assistance up and down stairs and sitting can be painful. But he still likes to run! If you'd like to add this sweet guy to your family, and keep him off the freeway please, contact us! If the pictures look a bit smudged, it's because Freddy licked the lens! Silly guy. |
| New Beginning: Woo Hoo! Freeway Freddy has found his forever family! We are so excited when one of our seniors finds their own "Happily Ever After!" Congrats to Freddy and his new family! Update - We are all saddened to learn of Freeway Freddy's passing on April 19, 2011. Freddy was a well loved member of his forever family, and they did so much to make his last months comfortable. He even had a wheelchair to help him get around in his last few weeks, which he took to quite well. Freddy crossed over the Bridge in the very best way, in his home, held in the arms of his family, surrounded with love. No one could ask for a better goodbye. Rest easy, old man, know that you are missed and that you will always be loved. |
