Medical condition: Some weakness in rear, seizures |
Description: Meet sweet Coby. Coby comes to Pug Rescue from the shelter, so we don't know much about his history. His foster mom reports that he is a sweet little guy who follows her all around the house. He gets along well with other dogs, likes to snuggle, and is learning to go potty outside. Coby does have some weakness in his rear legs, and his spine is a bit curved as you can see in the pics. He has been put on prednisone and this is helping him quite a bit. He did have a seizure at the shelter, and had another in his foster home, so we are working to try to figure out what is causing them and how they can be helped. Coby is very thin and is getting three meals a day to help him gain weight and get back to his proper Puggie physique! On 8/2/10, Coby was helped over the Rainbow Bridge by our vets at Cuyamaca and his loving foster mom. Coby came to us suffering from occasional seizures, but they became too much and too often for his little body to handle. Sweet little man will be missed. Rest easy, sweet Coby, with your funny little "love growls". Know that you were loved. Our hearts and sympathy go out to his foster family. |
