Description:
This is Scooter. Scooter comes to Pug Rescue with a rather sad tale. Her original owner said that Scooter was too rambunctious with her senior dog, and so rehomed Scooter with an older couple. They then gave Scooter back after three weeks, saying she had too much energy. Unfortunately, Scooter came back to her original owner completely traumatized, and afraid of lots of things. Then her original owner relinquished her to Pug Rescue. So here she is now, learning that life is safe and okay. Scooter is being fostered with one of Pug Rescue's professional dog trainers, and she is working with Scooter, trying to help build Scooter's confidence and help her get comfortable. Moving around so much has been hard on Scooter, as she is apparently a very sensitive dog. We hope that with time, love, and care, we will see her happy, rambunctious personality come out again. We'd like Scooter's next home to be her last, and we think she'd do best in a quieter home where things are pretty predictable. She likes other dogs, so perhaps a confident canine friend would help her see that life is pretty fun. Scooter has been vet checked, is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and is microchipped. If you'd like to give this sweet little girl a home where she can learn to be a happy, bouncy puppy again, contact us to arrange meeting her.

New Beginning: Scooter has decided to make her foster home her forever home! Congrats to Scooter and her new forever family!
