Say hello to Miss Cleo! Cleo comes to Pug Rescue from a family who could no longer care for her. Other than needing her ears kept clean, Cleo is a healthy senior girl, feeling much better now that she has lost some weight in her foster home! Cleo is potty trained, crate trained, and needs to be kept on a diet, like most Pugs - she LOVES to eat and will eat herself right back into being plump if you let her. Cleo gets along with other mellow adult dogs, but would prefer to be a pampered only princess. She definitely wouldn't be a good friend for a puppy, as she won't tolerate those shenanigans. She's completely fine hanging out on her own, and is content to sleep on her bed. Cleo checks in with her humans, gets some petting, and then is content to just be in the room with them - so if you like a dog that doesn't have to be in your face all the time, Cleo just might be your girl. Very low maintenance, this lady. Cleo is happy to get up and go for walks, and has lots of energy yet for a 10 year old lady. She is, however, very skilled at napping and takes this sport seriously. Cleo is looking for a home with adults only, and will not be placed in a home with children. If you'd like Cleo, but have kids that visit, she should be crated whenever kids are around.
