Description: Maximus comes to Pug Rescue from the shelter, he was found running loose on the streets. He is a sweet little guy who gets along well with other dogs and people. He is playful and likes other dogs, but isn't overly pushy.
Maximus is housebroken, but likes to mark a bit, but once he is neutered that should be easy to fix with some time and consistent training. Max has a little separation anxiety, very normal for a dog that has been left to fend for themselves on the street. Maximus will need some extra TLC in his new home until he settles in and learns that he is not going to get tossed out again. He often cowers and rolls over when you pet him, so we suspect that he has not been treated well.
Maximus will surely make a wonderful pet for someone willing to put time into helping him feel secure and confident. He is already settling down in his foster home, and is quite a snuggly little guy. Please contact us if you are interested in giving little Maximus a forever home. |
