Say hello to Miss Madison! Madison comes to Pug Rescue from someone who is losing their home, yet another victim of the economy. She is just a baby, and has no known health issues. She has been kept up to date on her vaccines and deworming. Her little tail doesn't quite curl, but it sure is full of wiggles! Like most puppies, Madison is full of energy and will need lots of training to become a good canine citizen. She does seem to be a mellow girl, by Pug standards. She does get going and racing around, but she also is content to hang out in the yard by herself, quietly snoozing on a rug. Madison is very submissive, and has not been socialized well, so she will need lots of confident handling so that she learns the world is a fun place! She LOVES to play with other dogs and is doing well with the crazy human toddler in her foster home. Madison is already very good about not chewing on humans, although she is a ferocious attacker of stuffed toys! Madison is learning how to sleep in a crate, and so far has been very quiet and clean in her crate - a wonderful first step to potty training! She loves food and will be easy to teach obedience to. Madison's new family should have experience with puppies, and be willing to take her to a puppy class to learn manners and help get her out in the world. She is a darling girl that deserves the best.
