Meet Rocko! This darling guy comes to Pug Rescue from a family that could no longer care for him. Rocko is a big guy, weighing in at 30 lbs! He definitely needs to go on a diet, and lose some of those rolls. Rocko has been an outdoor dog all his life, but so far he is doing fantastic with potty training in his foster home and hasn't had any accidents! Update on 8/22/10 from Rocko's foster - he is completely potty trained and has been perfect! Rocko gets along well with other dogs, and would love to have a doggie friend to hang out with, and he has been friendly and sweet with all the people he has met. Rocko got to attend the Dog Days event in Cardiff, and he was standing on his back legs trying to get all the pets! He loves to go for walks, and other than a little pulling, is great on leash, and he adores riding in the car. Rocko will make a wonderful "go anywhere, do anything" companion for someone who is looking for a dog that is very social. Rocko is being crate trained in his foster home, and so far is not a fan. He'd like a home where he can lounge on the couch and sleep in the bed, please! Update 8/22/10 - Rocko is doing just great in his foster home. Once he got settled in, his personality really began to shine! This guy is sweet, loving, and adores his human and canine family. Wouldn't you like to have such a great friend in your life? | New Beginning: Rocko has been recognized for the perfect, sweet boy he is! His new family includes a Pug sister to play with, and they both get to sleep in bed with their parents at night! What a lucky family! We are so glad that Rocko has found his forever family! He was happy too, and was twirling around with happiness when they came to pick him up! Congrats! |
