Meet Jason, who came to Pug Rescue with his sister, Gia and his brother, Freddie. All three pups are from an owner who had a litter and couldn't find homes for them. They all have Demodex mange and are being treated and recovering in their foster home. Little Jason has been the sickest of the three, and is just starting to perk up in his foster home. He is a sweet little guy, always wants to be on his foster mom's lap. He's still a little shy around new dogs, but should do just fine as he gets to feeling better and grows up a little more. Jason is learning to be crate trained in his foster home. He is also doing great with his potty training, and is the first of the three to understand how to "hold it". But, Jason is still a puppy, and will need continued house training and obedience training in his new home so he can learn to be a fabulous canine citizen. While we think Jason would do just fine with a canine pal or as an only dog, we do think that because of the work involved in raising a puppy, all of the siblings should be adopted separately, so that they can each be the treasured baby in their new homes. All the puppies are still on Medical Hold, and not currently available to meet families, but they have rechecks scheduled for 11/22 and 11/23 and if they are cleared by the vet, hopefully they can meet their new families in time for Thanksgiving! If Jason is healthy enough, he will be neutered on the 11/23.
