Description:
*****RUBY IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR CENTRAL COAST PUG RESCUE - PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT PUG RESCUE OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY ABOUT HER - PROPER CONTACT INFO IS BELOW****** We'd like to introduce Ruby, a little girl who was found wandering with her Pug friend in Paso Robles on a country road. Both girls were very, very sick with kennel cough that turned into pneumonia. Sadly, Ruby's companion did not survive. Lucky for Ruby, she found herself in the hands of a caring and dedicated foster home who fed her chicken and rice, gave her all her meds, and pampered and babied her until she felt better. It took Ruby over a month to recover. Ruby is feeling bright and shiny now, and is ready to start looking for her new home! Ruby is a tiny girl, but don't let her pint size fool you - she is one tough cookie! She had to be to survive what she's been through. Ruby does not get along with other alpha personality females, and would do best in a home by herself or with very mellow canine siblings. Perhaps Ruby would do well as a companion to a larger dog, or a nice, easy going boy dog to hang out with. Ruby is very smart, and responds quickly to training, so if her future family were willing to work with her, she could learn all sorts of wonderful thing! Ruby adores going for walks, and would be more than happy to stroll around the neighborhood with you. She is crate trained, potty trained, and well behaved in the house. She will sleep in her crate, but of course, would prefer to sleep on the bed with you! Ruby is very loving and enjoys snuggling. Ruby would also do best in a home where someone is with her much of the time, we suspect she was used as a breeder dog, and not taken very good care of, so she is now just basking in all the love and attention she has been getting. She's discovered how Pugs are *really* supposed to live, as pampered house pets, and she's decided she likes it! If you'd like to add this gem to your family, please contact Deborah Hansen of Central Coast Pug Rescue at debyhansen@charter.net. Deborah checks her email several times a day, so please be patient, you'll hear from her. Central Coast Pug Rescue is just getting started, and you can learn more about them at www.centralcoastpugrescue.com. Ruby is currently in the LA area, but can be brought to San Diego for the right family. Again, please contact Deborah via email if you are interested in Ruby.
