Description:
Say hello to Miss Josie! Josie comes to Pug Rescue from the shelter, and it appears that she was used as a breeder dog. Josie has been spayed, and is ready to find her new forever family. She is currently on medication for an ear infection, but that is clearing up nicely. Josie gets along well with her Pug foster siblings, and is fine with the cats. Josie is a sweet, sensitive girl, and she's very attached to her foster mom. She's a bit nervous about deep male voices, so her new home should be aware of this and encourage the men in her life to speak to her gently and lovingly until she gets more comfortable and confident. Josie is enjoying life in her foster home, and has shown her family that she can sit and stay, she even sits and waits patiently for her dinner! She does, of course, love food, and enjoys working for treats. Josie is working on her house training, and doing well, but still needs to be closely supervised. She will need a patient home that is willing to continue working with her on house training, and some food motivated obedience would surely help build her confidence.Josie is a very even tempered, calm girl, and if you think she sounds like your perfect new forever friend, contact us to learn how to meet her!
