Description: Say hello to Jack! Jack comes to Pug Rescue by a rather roundabout route. He was adopted from the Humane Society 4 months ago, but his new owner could not deal with his barking when he was left alone, so she brought him to us so he could look for a forever home where someone is either home more often, or is willing to train him. As it turns out, as we have gotten to know him, we've learned that Jack only barks when he is left completely alone, and does just fine with a doggie companion. He really enjoys his foster home, where he has several other Pugs for company - so Jack would do best in a multi-dog home. That's Jack below snuggling with his foster brother, Daggett. Jack is well potty trained and hasn't had any accidents in his foster home. Jack is very snuggly, loves his people, and gets along with children as well as adults. He is very well mannered, knows his name, and doesn't try to run off when he's off leash around the property. Jack is an all around nice guy, and will make a wonderful addition to any family. Perhaps you are Jack's special someone that will make his world complete? Contact us if you would like to meet this darling little guy! Update 2/20/11 - Jack is having surgery on a tumor on his chest tomorrow. Please send him lots of positive thoughts and get well vibes. Perhaps an extra cookie or two wouldn't hurt. Jack's surgery went wonderfully, and his tumor was completely removed and according to our vets it is unlikely to return. Great news for Jack! He is once again looking for his forever home, so contact us to learn how to meet this sweet, lovable boy! Note - Jack is pictured below with some of his foster siblings - he is wearing the orange tshirt. |
