Description: Meet Max! Max comes to Pug Rescue from a family that could no longer care for him, long hours at work have meant he has been alone far too much lately, and the decision was made to find him a home where he would have more company. Max is a total lover and has been very adaptable. He was only with his foster mom for a day before he had the house routine down pat! Max loves people and is just fine with cats. His favorite thing to do is curl up in any available lap. Max has a little separation anxiety (likely from being alone so much), but is otherwise a great little guy! When left alone for too long, Max tends to bark a bit. We were told that if Max is left alone too long, he may mark in the house, but so far he has not had any accidents in his foster home. He must like it there! Max's foster mom says he's been left alone 2-3 hours at a time, and he's doing fantastic. He sleeps in bed with her at night, and is a wonderful companion during the day. We think Max would do best with an owner who is retired or someone who works from home so he can get all the love and attention he deserves! His foster mom reports that Max curls up right next to her when she is at work on the computer. What a wonderful companion he is! Max’s eyesight is poor and he has some mild allergies, but neither of these health issues slow this love bug down! Max's right eye is shrunken, but it is still there. He does need eye drops to keep his eyes healthy. His previous owner has graciously offered to pay for Max’s allergy and eye medication for the rest of his life. She just wants him to have a home where he will get LOTS of love! If you could use a little more love in your life, contact us right away to meet Max! He says he'll be great at keeping your lap warm! |
