Description: Say hello to darling Suzi Q. Suzi Q comes to Pug Rescue from the shelter in Orange County. She is a darling little girl, and had some eye injuries that needed to be tended to when we got her. With treatment, one eye is now fine, and the other is healing from an abrasion. She will lose part of her sight in that eye, but it should heal fine and you'll likely never know she has a problem. Suzi has been somewhat unsure of herself in her foster home, she wants to be petted, but she will flatten out and cringe a bit when you touch her. She seems to get along with the other dogs, but she's really just not sure of her place in the pack. Suzi has not had any accidents in the house, and has been using the doggie door well, but she's a bit afraid of the flap, so her foster parents have propped it open for her. Suzi Q would do best in a loving, quieter home where she can learn that she is loved, and that no one is going to hurt her ever again. We have no idea what this girl has been through, but we'd like to help make the rest of her life one where she is adored and feels safe and loved, as all Pugs should be. If you think Suzi Q sounds like the girl for you, contact us to learn how to meet her. She really deserves a loving family of her own. |
