Special needs: Riley needs to stay on a diet! |
Description:
Say hello to Riley! Riley comes to Pug Rescue from a family that could no longer take care of him. Sadly, he has been living outside for the past two years, so while Riley is lovable and sweet, he does need some training and work on his house manners. Luckily, he is a pretty calm, loving boy, he just gets excited when he gets attention! Riley is healthy, but a bit overweight. He's started on a diet in his foster home, but he'll need to continue to watch his waistline in his new home so he can have a long, healthy life. Riley is getting along fine with his three foster siblings, and is happy to spend his evening on his foster mom's lap, or in his crate. He would do best in a home with older, dog savvy children. He'll need some work on his leash manners, and though we were told he was not potty trained, so far, he has not had any accidents in the house. You'll want to watch while he settles in to make sure he knows the rules. All in all, Riley is a wonderful, sweet boy who's just looking for a place where he can truly be part of the family.
