Medical condition: Mammary Tumor |
Description: Meet darling Isis. Isis came to Pug Rescue after she was left in a drop box at a shelter up North. It looks like perhaps she has had several litters of puppies in the past. Isis now has a baseball size mammary gland tumor. Our vets do not believe it is cancerous. Isis is on antibiotics for a respiratory infection but will have the mass removed as soon as possible. The mass keeps her from running, jumping and playing like a five year should! Isis is doing very well on her potty training and may be completely trained by the time she goes to her new home, but if she's not, this process surely won't take too much longer. She is a smart girl who's looking to please her people. Isis is so grateful to be finally getting the TLC she deserves. She will give you kisses of joy and thanks for the affection. Isis' coat is luxuriously soft. She will wag her gorgeous knot tail when you talk to her. We don't know how Isis lost her eye but she will not lose sight of you with her good eye! Isis will be on Medical Hold for several weeks as she goes through her tumor surgery and spay but would like to meet a new family now so that she can go to her forever home as soon as she is healed, or perhaps even after her surgeries are completed if her new family is up for aftercare. Do let us know if you would like to meet this sweet girl. She is looking forward to finding her perfect forever home. |
| New Beginning: Sweet Isis found a wonderful, loving family. When these great people came to meet Isis, they also met little Pebbles, who charmed everyone with her kisses and happy outlook on life. This family decided to adopt both girls, making everyone so happy! We are thrilled that Isis and Pebbles get to be sisters forever and know that both girls will be spoiled rotten for all of their days! |
