Say hello to Patton! Patton comes to Pug Rescue from a family that simply did not have enough time for him. Patton is a true one year old with a lot of puppy qualities. This 12 pound bundle of energy is friendly with people and great with other dogs. He is very curious about the cats in his foster home and is a bit of a kitty chaser, but he can surely be taught to leave the kitties alone. Patton comes when called and can sit, but other than that, he's a blank canvas just waiting to be trained. He does not like to walk on a leash and often stops in his tracks while on a walk and needs encouragement to keep going. Because the previous owners did not have much time for Patton, he was not able to learn leash walking and wasn't taken out on walks at all. His previous owner said that he is house broken and so far Patton has had no accidents in his foster home. He has not had any health issues in his first year of life. Patton is crate trained and has spent most of his life either in the backyard by himself or alone in his crate. Patton would really like a home where he can truly be part of the family!
