Description: Oscar came to Pug Rescue from the shelter, with open, oozing sores all over his body. He was in pretty rough shape, but as you can see, his foster mom is taking fantastic care of him and he is looking great! Most of Oscar's skin problems are from flea allergies, so getting and keeping him flea free was a huge part of his recovery. He is on good food and has had some medicated baths and soon his hair should all have grown back in and be beautiful.
Oscar is great with other dogs, and is a great lap dog. He's very cuddly and just wants to be someone's best friend. He sleeps in a fluffy dog bed in the kitchen, and is working on house training. He loves to go for walks, and would be a great walking companion, as he is good on a leash. Like most pugs, he's a great eater and likes snacks. He's a bit on the thin side yet, so he's been getting lots of goodies at his foster home to help him get healthy.

Update - 10-06-09
Oscar has been neutered and has had his teeth cleaned. He is doing very well and his coat is coming in beautifully. He is doing well with house training and his foster mom says he minds well, is gentle and sweet. Don't you want to add Oscar to your family?
Update - 10-22-09
Oscar is spending the weekend with me, and what a sweet, sweet little guy! He's a smaller pug - just the right size to snuggle on your lap, and is getting along great with the six other dogs here. He also was fine with the resident kitty cat. He's sleeping well in a crate, and is such a mellow, loving little guy. His coat looks fantastic, and his foster mom has done a great job getting him healthy! Come out to the Halloween party to meet this super guy!
