WalterMelon is a hunk of a boy! He has the perfect pug face and body with fur that feels like silk! He is happiest getting to sit by any human and is content to just chill out. He doesn't bark and is genuinely a very calm happy pug.
WalterMelon gets along splendidly with a male pug and a cat in his foster home. He walks well on a leash and is very food motivated (like a typical pug).
WalterMelon recently had surgery to remove a mast cell tumor and will be ready to go home as soon as he recovers. Our wonderful vets are optimistic that they were able to remove all the tumor. We will update once we get the test results from the vet.
WalterMelon is very affectionate and would do well with most any family. He is getting a refresher potty training course in his foster home. It would be best to crate him when not at home and just keep a careful eye on him in the house. WalterMelon enjoys hanging out in his crate. He's also a breeze to have in the car.
Anyone that adopts the WalterMelon will have a loving, gentle, companion for life.
