Hi. My name is Polly. I am approximately 5 years old. I was obtained from the shelter on June 5, 2015. I was pregnant and had my babies on June 19, 2015.
I am a very friendly girl who loves to give love and enjoys sleeping in my foster mom's bed. I follow my foster mom all around the house and would do best in a home where someone is home with me most of the day. I get along well with my foster brothers and sisters, but unknown if I like cats. I do like to go for rides in the car, and I like to go to the dog park. I am potty trained and know how to use a doggie door.
I do have trouble with both of my rear knees. I am not able to jump up on the couch, but I do know how to use the stairs to get up on to the couch. When I am done nursing my puppies, I will start taking some anti-inflammatory medications to see if it will help me. I do get around just fine, but would be best suited for someone who does not intend to take me on long hikes. I do, however, like to go on short walks.
Polly will be getting the "pug rescue special," which means she will be spayed, get a dental and have her nostrils and palate trimmed so she will be be able to breathe better. We are waiting for her milk to dry up before she can undergo the surgery.
Miss Polly is taking applications and interviewing families so she will be able to go home once she has recovered from her procedures.
