Meet Rocket. Rocket was an emergency pull from the Bonita shelter, and was very emaciated when Pug Rescue received him, weighing a mere 13 pounds. He is now in the care of a loving foster home, and has already gained 5 pounds! We are not sure about his history, or why he was so very skinny, all we know is he needed our help. Rocket appears to be a young adult, he doesn't have any grey around his muzzle, but we are not certain of his age. We are estimating he is four to five years old. Rocket is blind, but he gets around his foster home just fine. He gets along well with other dogs and simply adores children. Rocket does well with potty training as long as he has free access to the outdoors, in his foster home, they just leave the door open for him and he is happy to go outside on his own. He has been known to have accidents when he is confined, so if you don't have an open door policy, this should be something you are willing to work with. Rocket is a sweet, snuggly boy who loves to give kisses. He also loves to play, and has lots of energy now that he is getting fed and gaining weight! Rocket is really hoping to find a home where he can be a beloved member of the family, and never have to worry about going hungry again.
