Pug Rescue San Diego County welcomes you

Volunteering for Pug Rescue of San Diego County

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Pug Rescue of San Diego County (PRSDC) is no different. We are all volunteers, many with full-time jobs who assist with a variety of tasks. We always need help with the following activities:
  • Foster Parents (usually for a short time)
  • Telephone Hotline (1 week duty)
  • Drivers (pickup and drop off a Pug)
  • Costume sign-up table at events
  • Early morning at events - set up (tables/chairs/canopies, etc. for our various tables)
  • Afternoon at events - tear down (tables/chairs/canopies, etc. for our various tables)
  • Bake sale table at events (manage and sale of donated baked goods)
  • Raffle table at events (manage ticket sales and distribution of quality donated items)
  • Pug Boutique (sell and package pug-related items sold at events)
  • Web Site (help with website development and maintenance)
  • House Checks (drive to houses and interview people as adoptive parents)

How do you become a volunteer?

Please email us at volunteers@pugsandiego.com and tell us for which activities you would like to volunteer. We always need volunteers to work at the big May Party and to become foster parents. After you send us an email, the Volunteer Coordinator will get back to you about becoming an official volunteer!
